This summer is just flying by! A lot of these monthly favorites were purchased here in Texas since I didn’t have much space to bring things when I moved. Here are my June 2018 favorites:
Beauty
- Clinique Liquid Facial Soap. I experiment with facial cleansers quite a bit. I’ve had good luck with Clinique products, so I wanted to try this cleanser out! So far, I really like it. It’s mild enough that it doesn’t irritate my skin but also makes my face feel very clean.
- MakeUp Eraser. I had doubts about how well this would work, but I am amazed. All you have to do is get this thing wet and it just wipes all of your makeup right off! I am obsessed with this thing. It’s going to save me so much money on makeup wipes.
- Nail Polish Remover Pads. I just discovered how convenient nail polish remover pads are. Since I’m living in Texas, I only had limited space to pack things. Instead of bringing a big bottle of nail polish remover, I brought a tiny container of these nail polish remover pads. They work just as well as a bottle of nail polish remover and they are so convenient!
Clothing
- Brandy Melville Joggers. I’ve always been a huge jogger person so I was thrilled when I found these ones at Brandy. They’re so cozy and I love to throw them on with a baseball hat and some sneakers.
- Anthropologie Monogrammed Keychain. I have wanted this for so long so when I saw it on clearance the other day, I knew I had to buy it. I only paid around $8 for it and it is sooooo cute.
- Brandy Melville Missy Sweatshirt. I love Brandy Melville clothes. I’m so excited that there’s a store in Austin right down the road from me. I got the cutest waffle-knit style 3/4 zip pullover that I’ve been wearing a ton (even though it’s 100 degrees every single day).
Miscellaneous
- Yeti 26 oz. Water Bottle. I was so tired of walking outside and having my plastic bottle of water get warm in 10 minutes. I ordered this and have used it every day since. It has kept ice frozen in there for over 24 hours! Even in the 100+ degree heat when I’m outside all day it keeps my water cold.
- Erin Condren Planner Pens. My new planner started in July and I picked up some new Erin Condren pens to get organized. There is an Erin Condren store here in Texas too, so I stopped in and tried out all the colors. They are double sided and write so smoothly without smudging. These are my favorite planner pens I’ve ever used!
- Summermoon Coffee Bar. I’ve been testing out tons of local coffee shops this summer (more on this to come) and I am obsessed with Summermoon. They have a sweet creamy drink called the Wintermoon and I can’t stop buying it. There’s one pretty close to where I’m living, which can be dangerous…
