February is the shortest month of the year and it’s also my least favorite. I’m so glad it’s over! It’s probably a mindset but I just haven’t had a good February in years and this one did not disappoint. Here’s what I was loving in February:
Beauty
- Elf Magnetic Face Mask. I’ve wanted to try a magnetic face mask for so long! This one from Elf is super affordable and so awesome. It was so fun to use and made my face feel super soft and refreshed.
- Essence Mascara. This is seriously the best mascara I’ve ever tried. It’s only $4 and it’s better than any of the $40 ones I own. I have really short straight lashes and it makes me look like I’m wearing fake eyelashes!
- Light Up Makeup Mirror. I got this as a gift for Valentine’s Day and I’ve used it almost every day. At first I was super freaked out by how close-up this mirror magnifies your pores…but I got used to it. I love doing my eyebrows and applying my makeup with this mirror. The light ring around it is so helpful.
Clothing
- Frankie Jean Baseball Hat. Frankie Jean is definitely my all time favorite place to shop for baseball hats and other cute accessories. I got this hat when I was in Texas in October and I have worn it more times than I can count!
- Ugg Sweatshirt. Nicks’ Grandma got me an Ugg sweatsuit for Valentine’s Day. It has quickly become my favorite sweatsuit ever. It’s super fuzzy and warm inside, perfect for Wisconsin winters!
- Birkenstock Arizona Slides. I’ve been needing a new pair of Birkenstocks for so long. The pair I have are super nasty! I love these two strap ones so much. I can’t wait to wear them everyday this spring and summer.
Miscellaneous
- Roses from Nick. I was a lucky girl this Valentine’s Day…Nick got me a dozen of the most beautiful white roses! I’m normally not a flower girl but I cried when I got these. It was such a sweet surprise and they make me smile every time I walk into my kitchen.
- Starbucks Water Bottle. I got this amazing water bottle on clearance at Starbucks in February. the bottle twists open part of the way down so it’s easier to clean and also so you can put ice cubes inside! I love the color of this and how cold it keeps my drinks. I take it with me everywhere!
- Game Night Movie. I saw this in theaters in February and I loved it so much. I can’t even remember the last time a movie made me laugh so hard! The movie has Rachel McAdams and Jason Bateman in it so you already know it’s awesome.
