In celebration of my upcoming return trip to Grand Cayman, I thought it
would be fun to share a few throwback pictures from my visit last year. If I've
said it once, I've said it 100 times - Grand Cayman is my favorite place in the
world, and I definitely think you need to go there at least once in your life.

in the meantime:
1. I turned 22 last week and I feel sooooo old. I had a really awesome
birthday week/weekend spent with my family and friends. I am so grateful for
this life I have.
2. I completed my very first sponsored post last week with the Her Campus
Shop, an online store that I seriously love. You can read my post HERE! I'm
really proud of it.
3. School starts back up again today and it's stressing me out.
Wednesdays are going to be super long for me. I work 8.5 hours then spend 1
hour driving to Whitewater to spend 2.5 hours in class to spend another 1.5
hours driving home. I'm exhausted just thinking about it!
4. Only 54 more days until I leave for Grand Cayman! I am seriously so
excited. The crystal clear water and white sand beaches are calling my name.
5. I really need a new car. Madi was nice enough to let me drive her car
for a few weeks since she gets 24 miles per gallon and I literally get 10.
She's going back to school soon though so that means it's time for me to start
shopping for a new car.
6. I've been going to the gym a lot the last few months and to be totally honest, I
hate it. Madi and I are doing the Kayla Itsines BBG program and it’s kicking my
butt. I am also doing a bi-weekly series here on the blog called Fitness Friday
that focuses on workouts, food, and fitness clothing/brands I love!
7. I am obsessed with the new Starbucks Blonde Espresso. My all-time
favorite drink from Starbucks is an iced Caramel Macchiato. It is so amazing
with blonde espresso. It’s sweeter and less bitter. I usually only get 2 shots
of regular espresso, but with blonde espresso I get three. I highly recommend
trying out the blonde espresso in your favorite drink next time you’re there.
8. I have been loving my Apple Watch lately. I wasn’t sure if I would love
it but so far I really do. My favorite features are the calorie tracker and the
sleep tracker. I’ve had sleep issues for years so it’s really interesting to
see a breakdown of how much deep sleep I’ve gotten and my heart rate throughout
the night. The only thing about the watch that annoys me is how often it has to
be charged. I can’t charge it at night because I like to have it track my
sleep, so I have to find time during the day to charge it which can be a
challenge.
9. I’ve been rewatching some shows on Netflix lately since I haven’t found a
new one I love. I’m currently rewatching Grey’s Anatomy and Parks and Rec. I
just finished Shooter and that was sooo good. I can’t wait until the next
season comes out. What are your Netflix recommendations?!
10. My favorite app lately is Shopkick. I’ve earned a $25 gift card in the
last month with this app and it required almost no effort! Basically, you get
“kicks” when you walk into certain stores and even more kicks when you scan
certain items in the store. It’s that easy! Once you get to a certain number of
kicks, you can cash them out for a gift card. They have so many gift card
choices! I usually get Target or Starbucks. This isn’t sponsored, I just love

11. I’ve really been craving soup lately. I have never tried making it
myself, but I don’t imagine it would be that hard in a Crockpot. I’d love to know
your favorite soup recipes! Lately I’ve just been buying it from restaurants or
canned at Walmart. I really like the Idaho Potato soup mix too.
12. I can’t believe the first month of 2018 is almost gone. It always goes
by way too fast. So far I’ve had a great year, and I can’t wait to see what the
rest of 2018 holds!
